Resistors

Innovative technologies for devices and tools on the basis of nanostructural, doped, diamond-like films.

There were developed and manufactured small-sized, power, non-inductive resistors:

– with power capacity up to 500 W, in the body TO247 (PA6) up to 50W and in the original body PA7 – up to 500 W (patents are available).

At this stage, there are developed new technologies and the following products:

  1. Resistors:

    Resistors in PA6 body – up to 300 W;

Resistors in PA6 body.

To increase the electric strength of PA6 and PA7 completed with a resistor it is possible to supply lining of highly heat-conductive ceramics based on AIN (180 W/mK).

When installing resistor to the radiator through the lining and filling it with dielectric silicone gel, for example, Viksinit, СТЕП, СКТН, the electric strength of the resistor increases several times.

ATTENTION.

PA6 resistor installation to the radiator is to be made through thermally-conductive paste KПT -8 or its analogue.

Polymeric linings are prohibited!

Fix the resistor PA 6 on the radiator using M3, Ш3, Ш3гр screw in the following order:

Radiator for resistor is chosen at the rate of 1W of the resistor to 30 cm2 of radiator’s area.

On the basis of new resistive films it is possible to manufacture chip resistors.

Their advantage over conventional ones – ability to withstand higher current densities, inertness to corrosion environment and radiation fluxes.

We developed thermally-conductive, high temperature adhesives that allow to stick resistors without body directly to the radiator.

Thermal transition resistance for PA6, PA7, when fixing on the radiator.

Thermal resistance – ceramic substrate (base of the resistor)

– For resistors based on alumina ceramics – 0.463 K/W.

– For resistors based on silicon nitride – (0.139-0.159) K/W.

– For resistors based on aluminum nitride – (0.020-0.069) K/W.

Thermal resistance of the body-cooler – 0.85 K/W.

It is assumed that attachment of resistor to the cooler is made through the paste KПT-8, layer thickness of which is 100 um (clamping of screw force with a screw M3 is 1.5 Nm) (GOST (State Standard) 19783-74).

Thermal resistance of the lining – cooler (with the paste KПT-8).

– For lining made of aluminum nitride – (0.6-0.92) K/W.

– For lining made of BK-94 – 1.313 K/W.

Resistor PA7.

To improve the electric strength PA7 completed with a resistor it is possible to supply lining of highly heat-conductive ceramics based on AIN (180 W/mK).

When installing a resistor to the radiator through the lining and filling it with dielectric silicone gel, for example, Viksinit, СТЕП, СКТН, the electric strength of the resistor increases several times.

It is possible to use a compound developed by us (thermal stability 600ºC, breakdown potential – more than 20kW\mm).

ATTENTION.

PA7 resistor installation to the radiator is to be made through thermally-conductive paste KПT-8 or its analogue.

Polymeric linings are prohibited!

Fix the resistor PA 7 on the radiator using M3, Ш3, Ш3гр screw in the following order:

1. screw through the hole – the first;

2. screw through the “jaw” – the second.

On the basis of new resistive films it is possible to manufacture chip resistors.

Their advantage over conventional ones – the ability to withstand higher current densities, inertness to corrosion environment and radiation fluxes.

We developed thermally-conductive, high temperature adhesives that allow to stick resistors without body directly to the radiator.

Their thermal conductivity is higher that thermal conductivity of KПT-8.
