It is an external gearing of several gears connected with rods having engine pistons at the extremes, operating by means of the transformation mechanism of the reciprocating motion of those rods into the rotary motion of these gears.
The advantage stems from the fact that this alternative allows to discard a connecting rod causing side load on a piston, decreasing the coefficient of efficiency and leads to mutual attrition of a piston and a cylinder.
Furthermore this technology allows to change the space under a piston without any violations in cylinder block by changing the starting and the endpoint of piston stroke and without changing the stroke length.
It is used in transportation and special vehicles.
